NOW IS THE TIME
English sparkling wine is now among the best in the world; most people simply don’t know it. Albion was created to change that. It’s fizz made the traditional way from grapes grown in England’s chalky soil, bottled with care and intention but without the pomp.
Albion is about lightness; of flavour, of alcohol and of footprint. It’s a wine shaped for how people live now: relaxed, conscious and quietly confident.
What's in a name?
Albion is the earliest known name for Great Britain. It comes from the Latin albus, meaning white; a nod to the chalk cliffs at Dover and the same chalk seam that lies beneath our vineyards.
That chalk terroir is what makes English sparkling wine distinctive. The name Albion honours that connection in a way that feels rooted yet modern.
What we stand for
Drink English
Support local growers; reduce carbon miles; celebrate British craft.
Drink Lightly
Lower alcohol; certified sustainable winemaking; minimal packaging.
Drink simply
Contemporary design; thoughtful detail; no excess.
A DIFFERENT KIND OF CELEBRATION
Albion was created to be a wine that feels natural at any table; not saved for special occasions, but poured at them anyway. It belongs in the garden on a Sunday afternoon, at a pub lunch by the sea or shared in the kitchen at midnight.
It’s fizz that fits life as it is; generous, grounded and unpretentious.
CRAFTED IN ENGLAND
Albion wines are grown and made in the south of England, where the same chalk seam that runs beneath Champagne shapes the character of the soil. The brand works with growers who share its commitment to sustainability and simplicity.
Every bottle is made in small batches using the traditional method; the same technique as Champagne, with an English accent: bright, crisp and refreshingly dry.
A LIGHTER TOUCH
Albion is deliberately lower in alcohol and carbon footprint, made using certified sustainable practices and a clear commitment to the planet.
It’s a small step toward drinking better, not more; proof that less can be genuinely more.
